Who runs the portal

The portal is run by the Investment Promotion Agency of Cameroon (Agence de Promotion des Investissements, API). For any question about these terms, write to the address shown at the top of this page.

What the portal offers

The portal gives information on investing in Cameroon. It also lets you submit a file and follow its progress, verify a document signed electronically by the API, and obtain an accreditation for the Cameroon Investment Forum.

Your account

An account belongs to one person. You sign in with Google or with your email address; keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else is using it.

The API may suspend an account that is misused or used against these terms.

Files you submit

You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the information and documents you submit, and you must have the right to share them. The API processes files under its own procedures.

Deadlines shown on the portal are indicative targets, not guarantees.

Electronically signed documents

Documents signed by the API carry an electronic seal. Anyone can check one on the verification page. A document changed after signing no longer passes the check.

Accreditations

Prices are in CFA francs (XAF). You pay through payment providers, by Mobile Money or by card where offered; card payments are charged in euros at 655.957 XAF per euro. An accreditation belongs to one named person and can be transferred through the portal until the event ends.

Refunds are never automatic: one member of the API’s staff prepares each refund and a second approves it. To ask for one, write to the address at the top of this page. Entry to the forum remains subject to the event’s own conditions.

Personal data

How the portal handles your personal data is described in the privacy notice.
