Data controller

The Investment Promotion Agency of Cameroon (API) is responsible for the data processed by this portal. For any question, write to the address shown on the Contact page.

Data collected

Your account (name, email address, language), the files and documents you submit and their processing history. For the forum, each accredited attendee’s full name, organisation, job title, email address and photo, and the status of payments.

For Mobile Money, the number you enter on the portal is sent to the HandwerkSolutions payment gateway (which relies on pawaPay) and kept with the payment. Cards are entered directly with Stripe; the portal stores no card numbers.

Purposes

Processing and tracking your files, emailing you about their progress, sealing signed documents, issuing forum accreditations and collecting their payment. No data is sold or used for advertising.

Processors

Supabase hosts the database and files in Frankfurt (European Union). Amazon Web Services sends emails (SES) and protects the sealing key (KMS) in the European Union. Cloudflare hosts the website.

Payments go through Stripe and the HandwerkSolutions payment gateway; accreditations are issued by 3T Ticket.

Retention

Files are kept while they are processed, then under the archiving rules of the public administration. Your account is kept until you ask for its deletion; payment records, for as long as accounting obligations require.

You may ask to access, correct or erase your data, and object to certain processing, by writing to the address shown on the Contact page.
